SWIMMING.
The medals lately won by H. Rich, the Lyttelton Club's representative at the Australasian Swimming Championship Meeting were on view yesterday in the shop of Mr C. Mazey, at Lyttelton. In addition to winning two seconds and a third in the championship events, Rich lowered the New Zealand standard for one mile by 2miu, and this fine performance entitles him to the Association standard badge and cap. As a mark of appreciation of his successful efforts, the Lyttelton Club have decided to send Rich to Wanganui to compete in the Quarter-mile Championship of New Zealand. ■
