RIFLE SHOOTING.
HONOEAEY EESEEVE COEPS. The first of the Honorary Eeserve Corps' Bronze Medal competitions was begun yesterday afternoon on the Corps' range at Cashmere. Seven members fired, and the best total was made by Private Perkins, who put on 78 points, the conditions being seven shots at 200, 500 and ; 600 yd&. The highest range total was mado by Sergeant Wakelin, who scored 31 points at 50Oyda. The weather was very unfavourable to shooting, as a strong and very treacherous north-west wind blew throughout the afcernoon. The following ■were the scores : — ■ 200 500 GOO yds. yds. yds. Tl.
