MISCONDUCT ON TRAMS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sib, — It is nmeh to be regretted that steps are not taken by the police or train authorities to put a stop to reprehensible conduct on trams. Last night the 10.10 tram from New Brighton contained two women of the unfortunate class, who were making use of most obscene language, and singing ribald songs. They also freely abused any other passenger who endeavoured to stop their conduct. If something be not done, the tram, shareholders will find the public seeking other sources of outing.— l am. &c, "WEKA.
