[Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. To-night's Gazette contains regulations under the Cyanide Process Gold Extraction Act, 1897. Donald Grant, Waikouaiti, and Archibald Shaw, Invercargill, have resigned their appointments as Justices of the Peace. On Dec. 31 last the Consolidated Pond showed a balance of £986,792, and the Public Works Fund a balance of .£1,434,474. The postal and telegraphic revonne for the quarter ended Deo. 31 -was £98,897, as against £93,514 for the corresponding quarter of last year.
