. . WELLINGTON, June 22. About fifteen prisoners are to be released in recognition of the Queen's Record Reign, but their names have not been divulged by the Minister of Justice, who holds the opinion that it is not fair that those released should have their names heralded through the colony. Among those liberated are believed to be Rhinds, incendiarism at Wellington; Wallath, the Taranaki highwayman, and Findlay, who shot a man in a sailors' row on Waterloo Quay, Wellington.
NELSON, June 22. Three prisoners were released from Nelson gaol this morning.
