AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, April 28. Mrs J. K. Barney, Superintendent of the Department of Prison Work of the World's Women's Christian Temperance Union, closed a successful mission here to-night. She visited Mount Eden Gaol, and was shown over it. by the gaoler, Mr Eeston. She leaves by the Mahinapua to-morrow for the south.
