Orangeissi. — The usual meeting of No. 2 Purple Star Lodge, L.0.L., was held in the Orange Hall on Tuesday evening, the W.M. Bro W. Bultitude presiding. Correspondence was received : From the Nelson Lodge, thanking the members for their donation to the Orphanage Fund. From the Wellington Lodge, asking for the clearance of a brother now residing in that district. From the D.S. of No. 4 District, asking the lodge executive to attend a conference of lodge officers in Nos. 4 and 5 Districts on Friday, May 7. After several accounts had been passed for pay- : ment and the usual routine business disposed of, the lodge was raised to the Archpurple Degree, and two brethren received that degree, the lecture being given by : Bros King and Ferguson in a very impressive manner. :
