ATTACKED BY A BOAR.
Mf F. Tompkins, of Rangotoa,, Eangitikei, Avas savagely attacked 1 a few daysago by a boar which ho was driving oat of a paddock. The animal's tusks: inflicted serious rips on Mr- Tbmpkiins" thigh and stomach, and one of Ma liAngs. was also reached. His life was m jeopardy for some time, but according to the- latest reports immediate danger is considered to. have been averted.
