AN ASHBURTON SYNDICATE. [Pee; Pkess Association.! GKEYMOUTH, Nov. 28. The rich gold-bearing beach at Barrytown is about to be worked by Messrs Zander, Duncan and Shury, of Ashburton, who have taken up two hundred acres, and intend putting the necessary plant on to work. The sand lias been prospected from one end to the other by practical-* miners and a mining engineer, who frpm fifteen tests show the ground to be marvellously rich. It is intended to work with a " blow up," and the lucky proprietors have secured abundant water rights. The ground is situate at the famous Barrytown range.
