WAIPARA.
A meeting of the Waipara Eoad Board was held on Nov. 3 ; present — Messrs J. D. Lance (chairman), James Douglas, J. H. Hall, M. J. Burke and S. B. Gibb. Mr H. Acton-Adams attended and requested that his permission to erect certain gates on public roads running through the Tipapa Estate should be confirmed. It was decided to comply with the request. Tenders were accepted for the Waitohi. Gorge Eoad formation. It was decided to call for tenders for the following works : — Shingling on the Omihi, Waikari Valley, Horsley Down, Pyramid Valley, Allandale and Gray's Eoads. Accounts amounting to .£330 19s 7d were passed for payment and the meeting terminated.
