\ AKAEOA. , Great interest was taken in the Mayoral ' election. The candidates were the present ; Mayor, Mr G-. Armstrong, jun., and Mr F. r Potts. The result was as follows: — Mr Potts 55, Mr Armstrong 89. fP EB Press Association. | AUCKLAND, Nov. 26. Mrs Tates, an ex-Mayor of Onehunga, 3 was defeated by the retiring Mayor, Mr Sutherland, by 133 to 65.
