AERATED WATER AND CORDIAL FACTORIES.
The census industrial statistics show, in a table prepared by the Registrar-General, that the aerated water and cordial manufactories have increased since 1891 from 112 to 132. The following particulars are also given : —
In this industry Otago takes the lead of the provincial districts, with manufactures valued at .£23,972 ; Wellington follows with .£22,031 of manufactures ; Auckland comes next with .£19,4.79 worth, and Canterbury stands fourth, having manufactured to the value of .£14,941, while the total for Hawke's Bay is JE9232, Nelson .£4295, Taranaki .£2513, and Marlborough ,£2146.
