ERUPTION OF TONGARIRO.
Taupo telegrams state that the eruption of Te Mare still continues, volcanic dust being carried in a south-easterly direction towards the Kaimanawa ranges. Earth tremors are felt, but the geysers in the neighbourhood of Wairakei show no abnormal action. Ngaruahoe, which, like Ruapehu, was almost covered with snow early yesterday morning, was almost denuded in tho afternoon.
