After Bisley had cantered once round in clothing, and Seashell, Montacute and Goldleaf had accomplished steady exercise, Molly Darling spurted five furlongs. AriniUa and Acone separately galloped a mile and a half, and Marquis of Zetland defeated Bizarre over six furlongs, while Lady Zetland, Casket and Black and Eed galloped a mile and a half and finished in the order named, Black and Eed being a bad last. The gallop of the morning, however, was between The Shrew and Emoclydon, who were associated over a mile ai d three-quarters. A mile from home Aldershot joined in, but neither he nor The Shrew had a chance with Euroclydon, who finished about three lengths in front. Hex covered two rounds at three-quart 3r pace, while King's Bowman showed to greater advantage than Saracen over five furlongs, in which both horses moved fieely. Maybud covered se^'en ' "longs at three-quarter pace, while Pactolm and Salvo Shot spurted four furlongs and Bellicent galloped a mile and a half fast, and Quiltivi, Ta]\y-ho, The Stoat, Jewel, Tujanekai, Star Shot, Eangiatoa, Fabulist, Vandyke, Nicholas, Bimetallist, Venom, Lotion, Belligerent, Liberator, GilMe, St Ouida, Woodstock, St Mellon, Firefly, Uniform, Epaulet, Undesirable Bill, Taipari, Defiance, Pompon, Voltigeur, Sb John, War Dance, Marino, Soliiaiie, Dauntless, Daredevil, St Lauva, Social Pest, Vanilla, Decoy, Eidelweiss, Ngatuere, Blazer, Sir Launcelot, Bold, St Florent, Skirmisher, Vulcan and Golden Legend all did steady and half -pace work. Aftsr breakfast, Speculator went twice round at three-quarter pace, Eelmont cantered a couple of times round. Captive, who is looking well, did similar work, and Heather Bell and Artilleryman did steady work" twice round. Alcestis covered two rounds at three-quarter pace, Timothy cantered twice round, and afterwards jumped a couple of fences in good style. Bogengang did steady work over a couple of rounds, and Mahaki covered a similar distance with sweaters on. Lady's Chain, Pitch-and-Toss and Eobin did steady work over a couple of rounds ; while the Chainshot — Eetina colt negotiated a similar distance, finishing home from the four-furlong post each time at three-quarter pace, and Weary did similar work once round.

A man and woman who had never seen each other were married at Hugely. The bride'has been blind from her birth, and the bridegroom since he was three years Old.
