MR CULLEN'S MEETING.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — In a leading article in your last nighf s issue you refer to the " somewhat vindictive ' heckling ' indulged in by two or three Prohibitionists." As this may include me, because I took a prominent part in the proceedings subsequent to Mr Cullen's address, I should like to disclaim any desire on my part to heckle or be vindictive to that gentleman. Personally I should be very sorry to say a word against him. As an elector I exercised the right inter alia of asking certain questions with a view to ascertaining the merits cf the candidate, and specially pressed him to acknowledge which party he supported. — —I am, &c, C. B. KLEIN.
