Complaints are made that some anglers, in their eagerness to make a basket, or at all events not to go empty-handed, are in the habit of taking fish which are very much undersized, far below the recognised minimiiQi of five inchesi in length. If this be so, the persons in question are certainly guilty of an unsportsmanlike practice, and one which must tend to unduly lessen the number of fish.
