K1375 National Association. — A meeting of the Council was held at the new rooms, Falace Buildings, on Thursday, tlie President, Mr W. Jacques in the chair. The President reported that a large amount of business had been transacted during the week. Correspondence from various parts 0 of the district was read and dealt with. A letter was also received from Mr Charles Lewis, M.H.K, stating that he intended addressing the electors as early as possible after the close of the session. It was decided to have the rooms open for public inspection daily until Thursday next, after which the reading-room will be open for public use. It was resolved that the latest electoral rolls, maps of the various districts and enrolment forms should be procured. It was also arranged that a general meeting of members should take place on Thursday next, when the new : rooms_will be.formally opened.
