It is thought to be that of a seaman, named Carl Brun,who has been missing from the steamer Matatua since the middle of last month. OAMARU, June 3. A young man, named Cleary, employed at Otekaike Station, fell off a dray to-day and. was killed by the wheel passing over his head. '"'•'
A few minutes before eight o'clock yesterday evening, an elderly man, who was going over the Armagh Street crossing in Colombo Street, was knocked down by a hansom which turned somewhat rapidly ' round the corner from Colombo Streeb. Fortunately he was not seriously hurt, nnd was able to (ret wo and walk away.
