DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES.

'■■■..•..,■. ■ ■ ■.--.■ On Sunday, Feb 23, the Eev Father Cummings distributed the prizes to the pupils attending the' Roman Catholic School, JSalswell, in the presence of a number :of their parents and friends. After presenting the prizes the Rev Father complimented the pupils, also the teacher, Miss Booth, on the progress made in the school during the year, and the excellence of. the needlework, which was especially creditable. The following is the prize list:— Good conduct— Leo Kennedy, Babs Kilbride,. David Burke and Joseph Dempsey. Regular attendance— Babs E!ilbride and Joseph Mealing. Needlework — Mary Burke, Maude Kennedy, Mary Kilbride, Lizzie .
