South Australia's second innings closed for 215— Giffen 55, Hill 14, Beedman 3, Leak 17, Martin 13, M'Kenzie 0, Jones 2, Travers not out 1, sundries 6. Turner took six wickets for 35, Coningham Wo for 68, M'Kibbin one for 76. New South Wales in the second innings, requiring 187 to win, has lost one wicket for 103, M'Kenzie 20, Iredale not out -44, Donnan not out 33, sundries 6. Turner was the hero of the day, and never bowled in finer form or with better judgment. Five out of the six wickets secured by him were bowled, and for the first two hours he trundled only 12 runs were scored' off him. The last five wickets fell to him in succession. The three last wickets added only 1 runs.
