HUES.
AN EPIDEMIC OP FIRES. [Peb Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 3. The epidemic of fires continues. The stables attached to the City Hotel, Courtenay Place, were burned last night, with six horses and two cabs belonging to Messrs Baldwin and Petrie. The former is insured for .£IOO. The hotel suffered trifling damage. Later on another fire broke out in a boarding-house on the terrace, but it was fortunately suppressed before much harm had been done.
