San Francisco Mail.— The Omapere, with the San Francisco mail, arrived at Lyttelton last evening. The postal officials promptly sorted the Christchurch portion upon its arrival at the office. Acknowledgments. — The Superintendent of the Lyttelton Sailors' ' Home acknowledges the following donations: — From Mr J. Jackson, Papanui, a sack of apples -and a sack ,of potatoes ; froni Miss Folkard, Lyttelton, a parcel of magazines; from HrsLairig, St. -Martins, Opawa, a parcel of London Graphics. For the Seamen's Best— A parcel of magazines from Mr W. Guise Brittan, and a parce] of music from Mrs E. E. Chambers Lyttelton.
