Prevention of Fever — Timely Advice. — The great source of disease is impure water. It is well known, however, that water when made into tea is wholesome and nutritious. Orient tea is the best in this respect, as it is health-giving, stimulating, invigorating and calculated to ward off disease. To be had only Wardell Bros, and Co. — [Advt.] The Late Mr H. Olney. — The congregation of the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church, of which the late Mr Olney was for many years a prominent member, has erected to his memory an ornamental porch in the south-west corner of the building. The porch was opened for use yesterday morning, and before proceeding with his sermon the Rev J. J. Doke said he wished to refer to the memorial that had just been completed. The structure, beautiful as it was, gave but very feeble expiession of the loving regard with which.they all cherished the memory of Mr Olney. The porch was the result of the free-will offerings of the members of the church and congregation, and the work had been done under the supervision of a deacon of the church. A tablet had been placed in the memorial in memory of Miss H. H. Pillow, who, as 'a representative of the church, had devoted her life to missionary work in India. The porch, which was designed by. Mr Arthur Chidgey, is built of New Zealand honeysuckle, kaitri, rimu and other woods in the Gothic style, and is a very handsome addition to the church. Over the door is a marble tablet setting forth the object of it 3 erection, ami in one of its panels is another tablet in memory of Miss H. H. Pillow, the remaining five panels being filled with muffled cathedral glass.
