There » was a fair .attendance at the \ weekly .sale of skins yesterday, and prices •were slightly better than they were last -week, some longwools fetching as high as 4a 4d. Prices were: — Butchers' first - quality cross-bred pelts -2s , Id to 2s 9d, -second quality Is 3d to 2s, merinoes from.: is 7d .to .2d, lambskins from 2s Id to 2s 10d, dry cross-bred skins fromfjd to sd per lb. merinoes from 4d to 4£d, fat Id to lfd, hides and calf skins at usual rates. ■■■'
