v - O [Per Press Association.! WANGANUI, Feb. 28. A large meeting of draught players was held last night concerning the championship tournament. Everything is arranged for. A great success is anticipated*, and the movement has been heartily supported. A large number of entries has already been received. At a meeting of the committee it was decided that every player should play every other player two games in the tournament. The following have been elected a committee to select a team to represent the North Island in the North v. Soxith Island match: — Messrs H. W. Kay (Woodville), Henderson (Auckland), Walter Blair (Otakeho),. James Bruce (New Plymouth), John Leggett (Wellington), John Anderson ( Wanganui), ' with power to add to their number.
