[Special to Press Association.] ' SYDNEY, Feb. 27. Turner, Bruce and King (Adelaide) will select the team to play the Australian Eleven at Sydney on Saturday week. . A match was played at Kaiapoi yesterday between the Kaiapoi Club and a team representing Messrs Strange and Co.'s employes. Kaiapoi won by 9 runs. Scores : —Kaiapoi 41, Strange and Co. 32. Merrin and Robilliard 12 each, for> the winners, were the highest scorers. A match was played at Hagley Park yesterday between the Christchurch Hairdressers' and Bakers' Clubs, and resulted in a win for the former by eight runs on the first innings. Scores: — Hairdressers, first innings 69 (Gr. Deal 15, Simpson 10 npt out); Bakers 61 (Eattray 23, Willis 17). The 'Hairdresser^ in their second innings had scored 138 at the call of time (Robertson 49 not out, Cusack 42, Ogier 12). The bowling honours for the Hairdressers were divided between H. Deal and Cusack, and for the Bakers Willis and Petrie bowled well. The following will represent the Stunner Club in their match with Ashley County to-morrow, at Eangiora, play to start at 2 p.m. : — Monck, sen., Monck, jun., Q-ilpin, Lane, Eoberts, Hayhurst, Morton, Johnston, Atkinson, Crawford, Barker and Lawrence. A cricket match between an eleven selected from the officers of the squadron now in Lyttelton and a Lancaster Park team was played yesterday. The naval officers scored 125 (Commander Anson 21, Mr Cox 34, Mr Swan 25) ; Lancaster Park, 121 for one wicket (W. Cooke not out 66). The Misses Raphael provided afternoon tea, and the band of H.M.S. Orlando played a number of selections. ■
