Cumming arid Constable Berrhnan gave evidence. Accused 'reserved his defence. He' made no statement in answer to the charge. Peerce Lanigan, contractor, and W. F. Buckland, solicitor, Cambridge, have filed their schedules. The latter's unsecured liabilities are .£3751, secured liabilities . i523,_196, deficiency .£1768. He attributes the result to the depression in land values. Mr Buckland said in his statement that he had been carrying on law, politics, Bawmilling and sheep running for twelve years.
