In a case in which John Loughlin, Leonard Smith and Timothy Hayes, bookmakers, were sometime ago charged with betting on the Winton racecourse, Mr Poynton, S.M., this morning gave judgment in favour of the defendants. He said the ..men, according to the evidence, had been walking round the course in the same, way as -other patrons of the races.
