The election of a member of the House ■ of Eepresentatives for the City of Christchurch will be held to-morrow. Hall,' VogelStreet '" Hibernian HalL Barbadoes Street Mission Hall, Colombo Eoad, Sydenham Public Library* Waltham Eoad The Methodist Schoolroom, Selwyn Street, Addington St Albans Borough Council Office, Papanui Eoad The Mutual Improvement Hall, Knightstown. The election roll for the district as completed by the addition of the supplementary rolls,. contains 17,659 names; Electors will greatly facilitate the work of the returning-officers if they will take -the trouble to write their names and their i numbers on the electoral roll on slips of i paper, and hand these in when applying | for their ballot papers. It has been found i that much less time is occupied when this I plan is followed than when electors give the information as to their names, &c, | viva voce. . . . . ____ __ _
