A meeting of delegates from the Canterbury Swimming Clubs was held hist evening ; present — Messrs G. Smart (chairman), J.M. Watson (Christchurch), A. Duncan (Lancaster Park), C. Le Mercierr (East Christchurch), G. Mime' (Eichmond), \E. M. Carr (Bailway), W. J. Stratton(Eakaia), W. Mansell (New Brighton), A. Francis (Ashburton) and C. H. Fox (Southbrook) . The dates for the' annual club races were balloted for in accordance with a previous resolution,' and- the' result ' was as' follows :— .Feb.d3, Southbrook; Feb. 22, Eichmond ; Feb.. 27, Eakaia-.Feb. 29, -East Christchurch; March 5, 'New Brighton ; March 7, Christchurch. j March 14,- Lancaster Park; March 19, Professor PannelTs Carnival ; March 21, Sydenham. it was decided that all Junior inter-Club races should be confined to boys under sixteen years of age. The Chairman was requested to communicate with the honorary Secretary on the question of transferring the headquarters of the Association from Auckland to Christchurch, and report to a future meeting. ■ The Christohuroh Club held a 75yds Handicap Eace ' in the bath, on Thursday last.
