MR T. E. TAYLOR.
TO THE EDITOR. Sip.,— Mr T. E. Taylor's long letter in the Star -of hist night shows him to be quite impossible as a representative of the Christchurch electors. He would represent Mr T. E. Taylor, no one else. Follow a leader ? Not he s simply, I suppose, because others think it wiser to do so. If every member of Parliament were a "Party" in himself, like Tommy, what kind of a Parliament would it be ? There is not any too much work done in the session now, when men do pull together. With members such as T. E. Taylor would make — each "fechtin' for his ain'hand" — there would be nothing: done at all. I claim also " that the people's interests and measures should be of paramount importance," and therefore intend voting for the tried-and-not-found-wanting R. M. Taylor, and by so doing helping forward the cause of the real Liberal Party .—I am, &c, JANET.
