THE MELBOURNE CARNIVAL. [Special to Pbess Association.] MELBOURNE, Feb. 8. At the cycling carnival there was fine weather and a large attendance. The following are results : — League Cup— Scharpe 125 yds, 1 ; M'Lea n 130 yds, 2 ; Hill 160 yds 3. Won by several yards. Time — 4min 51§ sec. Ten-mile Championship — M*Lean 1, Porta 2, K. Lewis 3. Won by a wheel. Parsons fell. Time— 27min 12£ sec. Mile Test Race— Parsons 1, Kirk 2, Iredale 3. Won easily. Time — 2min 12£seo. , Scratch Quarter-mile Race-^-Megson 1, Walker 2, E.Lewis 3. Won easily. Time— 31£ sec.
