OBITUARY.

OAMARU, Jan. 7.
The death is recorded at Castle Hill, last night, of Mr A. C. Lang, a well-known runholder, who at one time resided in the Napier district. Mr Lang recently sold his run here, intending to leave the colony for the sake of his health, but he died of consumption before he could carry out his intention. He was a brother of Andrew Lang, the author.
