Smith, Secretary of the Cricket Council, has received information that a change has been made in the composition of the New South Wales team, which is to play its first New Zealand match here on Dec. 14. Mr . A. Fnrness baß been substituted for Mr B. Lindsay, who is unable to leave Sydney. Mr Smith has aleo been informed that the Mr Callaway included in the team is the player who did so well in the Australian eleven playing again Stoddart'a team at Adelaide last aeason> and was in New Zealand a few years ago. He has not taken part in many matches this season.
