The inter-club match between the Petone Club (winners of the senior championship of Wellington) and the Linwood Club (winners of the senior championship of Canterbury) will be played at Lancaster Park on Thursday next, commencing at 3 p.m. The match ia attracting a considerable amount of interest, and should be well worth seeing. On Thursday a match was played on Latimer Square between teams represent ing Messrs Taylor and Oakley and the Pioneers, resulting in a win for the Pioneers by nine points to three.
