KURDISH RAIDS. [Special to Pjbess Association.] LONDON, August 10. The Marquis of Salisbury has received reports that owing to Kurdish raids in Malori and Moorish Armenia the sowing of crops has been prevented, and five thousand people are on the verge of starvation. A number of villages have been destroyed, and 800 people are said to be living in caves. Many are naked and their only food is leaves of trees and green plants.
