WORKERS' COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Workers' Committee was held at the Industrial Association's office on Saturday evening. Eight members were present and Mr S. Hurst Seager presided. Mr B. Best interviewed the committee and offered to work a band and fret saw in the exhibition, and an arrangement was made for him to do so. Messrs S. Hurst Seager and A* W. Beayen were requested to interview the officer in charge of the Addington railway workshops, and Professors Scott and Bickerton, with a view to obtaining exhibits. Mr Hurst Seager was authorised to see Mr Modelings in reference to having an exhibition of electrical apparatus. The Chairman reported that the Slloyd or manual training classes of the Boys' High School would make an exhibit of cardboard and other models made at the school. It was decided to recommend the execntire that the entrance avenue should be allotted to the display of the work of the Btudenta ! of the School of Art. The committee then adjourned to 7 p.m. on Saturday next at the committee-room at the exhibition, the Reserve Corps' orderly-room.
