Cyclists' Alliance.
A general. meeting of the New Zealand Cycltetß' Alliance was held laab evening; ' present— Messrs F» Denby (in the chair), J l , Jr-Dann, J..8. Laurenson.C. W. Milner, A. E. White, E. A. England, Skelton, W. G-. Garrard, G. Mueaen, M. S. Brown, J. C. Cusack, C. H. Joneß and W. C. Milla. The Secretary reported that the exeoutive had waited upon the sub-committee of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to consider matters in connection with a combined cycling and athletic Australasian championship meeting. The following report had been drawn up:— The meeting to be held under the joint control of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association and the New Zealand Cyclists' Alliance. The hotel expenses of any competitors that may be specially selected to be charged to the meeting— the cyclists from Dec. 27 and the athletic men from Dec. 29 until Jan. 4, both days inclusive; entertaining to be outside the meeting. Any Rrofiti to be equally divided, likewise any loss. A motion was moved for the adoption of the report. An amendment was moved that the Alliance should hold the championships of 1896 separate from the athletic championships.
