SOUTH MALVERN.

Our correspondent writes :— The storm, of which warning waa telegraphed from Australia, reached here on Saturday. It began with a stiff "nor'-wester," which lasted until early on Sunday morning. The wind then chopped round to the south-west, bringing with ib wind and snow. This cleared up during Sunday, but during the night, or early on Monday morning, snow came on, and at midday on Monday snow to the depth of six inches had fallen. The weather yet looks threatening. The runholdera will now be in a worse plight than ever, and many of them will remember with sorrow the winter of 1895.
