Oar Oxford correspondent writes : — On Saturday a strong nor'-wester blew all day which almost cleared all the snow in the low-lying distriote. Towards Sunday morning sleety showers culminating in enow set in, and continued until a little past midday, when the weather somewhat cleared op. In the evening there were a few showers, bub on Monday morning the ground was covered with a slight coating of snow. Sinoe daylight yesterday, snow fell very heavily, and at three o'clock there was a depth of fully six inches, with very little prospect of clearing off. In the bush it must be lying to a good depth, ac it snowed there all yesterday, and stock must now be suffering a good deal, having had very little ohance of recovering from the last etorm.
