At a meeting of the Unemployed itenet Committee held at Temuka on Thursday it was unanimously decided to spend i5lOO on the improvement of the recreation ground in the Park. Eleven men applied for work at the local Town Board office the same day, and it was decided to give the whole of them work. A atarb la to be made to-day. The Eev Mr Dickson and Mr M'Cully gave a limelight exhibition on the South Sea Islands, the name evening in the Volunteer Hall, for the Unemployed Fund. There was only a small attendance.
