[Special to Pbbss Association.! A EAILWAY DISASTER. PARIS, Jult 27. A train conveying Erench pilgrims to a shrine left the rails at Saint Brione. Some of the carriages were telescoped almost to splinters. Twelve persons were killed outright and fifty seriously injured. BARQUE ASHORE. PERTH, Jult 29. The Norwegian barque Agra, loading at Bunbury for London, went aground during a gale, and struck heavily. She is likely to become a total wreck. [Peb Pbbss Association. I NEW PLYMOUTH, Jult 29. On Saturday the son of Mr Laing, who found a natural gaß spring at Inglewood, was experimenting with a gasometer whioh haß been placed over the spring, when an explosion took place and sent the boy into the air. He waa picked up badly injured, and it 5b reported that be is partially paralysed. DUNEDIN, Jult 27. At the inquest ou the body of William Lees, of Mosgiel, a verdict of death from exposure was returned. While on his way home he had evidently fallen into a dam in which the water was two feet deep. When the body was found it was evident that the man had been trying to get up the bank, but did not have strength to do so, and as he passed the night with his feet in the water he died from cold and exposure.
