The Corriere newspaper, published here, states that Bussia and France are endeavouring to entangle Italy and Great Britain in an African difficulty, with a view to free their own hands in their action in the East. Baron Blanc, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, asserts that Menelek, the Ruler of Abyssinia, after owing his throne to Italian influence, betrayed Italy for the purpose of gaining favour with Russia. LONDON, Jult 27. Reports from St Petersburg state tbat Russia will support the claim put forth by France for the British evacuation of Egypt.
