A labourer namad Hunry Ex worthy he s beon missing for a fortnight. He ia supposed to hava been drowned while crossing a river on. the banks of which hia horse, Bi.d-lotl, was found.
A cottage, owned by the Auckland Education B.ard and occupied by Edwin Whito, wns destroyed by lire.
Williim Tom Dayoy haß been .committed for trial on charges of larceny as a bailee cf a suit cf clothes and forgery.
