In connection with the first day's racing Mr M'Bride hao given the dob notice not to pay the first money to Mr (Edwards, owner of Three Cheers, for that horse's victory in the Easter Handicap, as Mr it is alleged, haß been disqualified for a period of one month dating from, May 1 by the Canterbury Metropolitan Trotting Association. On tau ground Mr M'Bride claims the first money for bis horse Duke C, which was Mr W. Bloomfield haa written to the Stewards of the Auckland Trotting Club asking for the Secretary, to inquire into the charge of a ticket haying been rung on the totali3ator on Minnie, winner of the Maiden Trot at Epsom on Saturday, after the horses had started. It wbb agreed to hold an inquiry on Friday night next, and Press representatives are to be asked to be
