DISCOVERY OF COAL.
BRISBANE, Mat 15.
An important discovery of coal has been made at Gawrie, in the Toowoomb* dis- ! trict. A seam of good coal, three feet and a half thick, was struck forty f«et from the surface, and traced for two miles.
