COURSING. AUCKLAND, May 11.

Tke May meeting of the Auckland Conreing Club was opened to-day. There was a moderate attendance. In tbe New Lynn Maiden Stakes, for which there were twenty-two entries, two rounds were finished. Fiend, Evening Star, Raspberry. Modesty, White Hind and Blue Light are left in. For the Open All-aged Stakes there were eight entries. The first ronnd was finished, leaving in Griffiths, Cushla, Rondo, and Storm Fiend. The finals will be run off on Wednesday. The favourites for the double arc Fiend for the Maiden and Stotm FieDd for the All-aged Stakes. The judging of Mr Knight gave general satisfaction.
