[Special to Prebs Association.] LONDON, Mat 10. At the sales o£ kauri gum yesterday, 3750 packages were offered, 3000 being disposed of. Three-quarter scraped brought 83s, and half scraped 48s. There are now 2100 packages in stock. Copper has risen 51s per ton ; while tin, owing to a combination, has risen lOb. At the wool Bales prices were irregular. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following cable message, dated LONDON, Mat 10. Frozen meat.— Mutton market is weak. Canterbury and Wellington are worth reBpeotively 2ld and 2£d per pound. Lamb market is firmer. Prime New Zealand lambs are worth per carcass 4§<i per pound. (Lasb quotations were 3£d and I 2fd for Canterbury and Wellington mutton respectively, 4f d for lamb.) Buttar. — There is a fair demand for New Zealand fine qualities which are worth 743 to 78j per cwt. (Last quotations were 76s to 80s per owt.) Sheepskins.—- Thore is more spirit among buyers, and prices show id advance.
