Found Drowned.

m L . [Peb Pbess Association.] TIMARU, Jan. 29, The body of a man was found .washed up on the beach beßide the breakwater this morning, and was recognised as that of W. Montgomery, a single man employed at Rainoliffe Station, whence he came to town yesterday. He was last seen shortly before 11 p.m. quite sober; £4,2 odd was found in his pockets. He is supposed to have strolled on the breakwater and fallen into the sea. He had been in the police force in Australia. [SPECIAL TO THE " S-AB/'j Montgomery has a brother, Johnston Montgomery, at Raincliffe, a'groom there for many years. Deceased came over from Australia some time ago to be near his brother. He was a native of Ballymena.
