EANGIOSA.. The annual meeting of the Rangiora Cricket Club waa held at the Junction Hotel on Thursday evening 1 . Mr A. S. Clarfcson was voted to the . chair. Ofieera were elected. Patron, Mr D. Baddo, M.H.S. ;. president, Mr J. Sansom; vicepresidents, Very Eev Father O'Connor, Eev IF. Pi Fen'dall, 'Messrs A., Y. Hay, G-. F. Smith, M. Macfarlane, J. . Johnston, R. Moore, G. H. T - T . Helruore, A.' S. Clarkson, H. Boyd and E. W. Ralph j general coni"inifctee, Messrs Foster, Reynolds, Smitb, Scott, Murray, Turner, Shorland and Johnston ; secretary, Mr H. Cave ; trea--Burer } Mr J. W. Fosierj captain, Mr J. Reynolds; selection committee, Metsrs Turner, Cave and Beynolda. Eight now members were elected. Bs,te for tha beat batting and-bowiing averages were offered by Mr H. Rule and Mr M. Scott respectively. The bat given by Mr H. Bailey was presented to Mr K, Sinclair as being the best fielder in the club. The opening day waa fixed for Thursday, Oct. 4, The usual votes of thanks were passed.
